May 21, 2021

Hello Everyone,

I hope this letter finds you all safe and in good health.

The Premier’s announcement yesterday implies that we are still where we are some weeks ago, until the 14th of June.

This is the reopening plan for our parish here in Lindsay:

1. We cannot resume daily or Sunday Masses as yet, but the church will be open for private prayers as usual:
Monday through Friday: 8am to 2pm
Saturdays and Sundays:8am till 12 noon

2. We shall resume Sunday Masses only from 5pm on Saturday the 19th of June.  This is how we will make it work for anyone who wishes to attend:

a. The first 9 people including the Lector and cantor will be allowed into the church.

b. Anyone else who wishes to attend should please stay in their vehicles and turn on the FM channel 105.7 or 106.7

c. For communion: Those inside will receive first, then I will stand at the door on the handicap side  (East side) of the church to distribute communion while we maintain the 6 feet distance in-between.

We can make this work so that we get back to worship and still remain compliant with provincial instructions.

Please continue to stay safe!

God bless

Father Balonwu
