Jesus, I have loved Fr. Joseph’s homilies telling us the history of our church, history of saints and sinners, history of God’s never ending love for us throughout the millennia despite the times Your people sinned so badly and fell away again and again. I could listen to him speak for hours because he has presented the truths of our faith in a way that truly helped me understand them better.
Lord, thank You for giving Fr. Joseph the grace to persevere as he has remained firm in his stance to tell us the truths of our faith; not because he thinks he is right and everyone else is wrong, but because he knows what Your Word says and because he cares enough about our souls to make these truths known. Not only that but he did not leave us there as Fr. Joseph, despite few people coming, has spent hours in the confessional inviting us to confess our sins so You Jesus will make our souls clean again.
Lord Jesus, thank You that Fr. Joseph not only prays at Adoration but also before and after Mass. Because he does I can see that he recognizes that his help comes from that relationship with You. I pray that he never loses that relationship and that You will give Fr. Joseph the grace to pass that on to others in a way they will listen and seek You with their entire being also. I thank You for his help in bringing me deeper into the place of seeking Your Divine Will in all I do.
Thank You Lord for giving Fr. Joseph the grace to wait patiently as he kept inviting us to confession and Adoration because he knew that we would meet Jesus and Mother Mary there when we did. Jesus and Mary have become more real than before because of the time I spent there myself.
