Cathedral Restoration and World Youth Day 2023 “Preserving Legacy; Building Tomorrow”
The legacy of our Catholic faith in the Diocese of Peterborough is rich. Our parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and beyond literally built our parishes. For generations, our prayers have seeped into the walls of our churches, our pews have given respite for weary souls, and Christ has laid upon our altars the banquet of eternal life.
Desiring to honour this legacy, Bishop Daniel Miehm has announced that the 2023 Bishop’s Appeal will support the physical restoration of the Cathedral church and the diocesan delegation of young people attending World Youth Day in Lisbon this summer.
