Wednesdays 11 January – 26 April 2023 Church History: Christ to Constantine (+337)
The history of the early Church from its origins to the reign of the first Christian Emperor. The course examines the Christian movement from Jerusalem to Antioch and ultimately to Rome itself and its far-flung empire, including key figures distinguished for their proclamation of the Gospel, heroic witness in martyrdom, asceticism, and the development of doctrine.
