Aging Gracefully and Change

aging gracefully and changeTwo Workshops are available Saturday April 2nd. and 9th. at Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre in Niagara Falls. You can phone 905-356-4113 for more information.

We often thing of aging gracefully as “looking old, but still holding on” or “showing signs of aging, but still moving forward with life.”  Aging gracefully is not all about age or appearance, but also about the attitude we have as we go through the various stages of life. Explore how our feelings about aging can play a big role in how we approach it. Find tools to be able to remain open to new experiences and to grow and change with each season of our life  Find ways to adapt to the changes that each stage of life presents and learn about the grieving process that accompanies them. “Don’t regret growing older. It’s a privilege
denied to many.”

The only thing that is constant in our lives is change and it will come whether we are ready for it or not. Change means altering our lives, creating a new routine, and doing things differently.   Explore the various emotions associated with change and how to adjust and cope when change arrives. Learn how to embrace change rather than fear it. Find ways to be open to the transformation that change can bring. Are you ready to explore where change will take you?
