Lindsay Community Food Market Food Drive Food tubs will return to church entrances beginning Wednesday, Sept. 1st. Any food you can donate will be taken to the food market for their drive on Sept. 21 from 9 am to noon at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 125 Victoria Ave N. Please be generous. The market is especially in need of canned protein and peanut butter. Thanks for your generosity.
Back to School Program Members will be helping some children from families with low income to purchase back to school supplies. Please keep these families and our volunteers in your prayers.
Monthly SSVP Collection Many of our “neighbours in need” are still experiencing food insecurity. In order to continue our programs, we would appreciate your donation either made by dropping it off at the parish office in an envelope clearly marked SSVP, or mailed to St. Mary’s Church at 40 Russell St E, Lindsay K9V 2A4, or you can donate on-line at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/society-of-st-vincent-de-paul-st-marys-conference-lindsay/ Blue envelopes will be available beside the regular collection basket. Our regular collection on the first Sunday of each month will resume on Sept. 5. Your donations have allowed us to donate $700 food monthly for the Lindsay Community Food Market where our volunteers also work. Thanks for your help.
