Parish News Update
SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL Thank you to all the volunteers and all those who prayed for the success of SSVP Christmas Cheer. We were very successful in helping 90 families and 50 adults and seniors. Many people contributed time to shop or organize part of the day of pick-up/delivery. Bonnie Collins would like to close the books on Christmas Cheer 2023. If you have receipts, please contact her to make arrangements to submit them as soon as possible. Bonnie can be reached at 705-324-8072 or by e-mail. The pick-up and delivery of Christmas Cheer took place on Monday December 11th with 50 singles and seniors and 90 families receiving food cards and gifts. Your generosity throughout the year has made this possible. Several parishioners , schools, Crayola Canada and other businesses donated additional gifts for the families. Special thank you to volunteers, EMS volunteers and student volunteers from St. Thomas Aquinas. Be assured that all the items will be used. In addition to Christmas Cheer, we have gifted a few items to the Lindsay Pregnancy Centre and other agencies serving Neighbours in Need. Once again, with gratitude to each donor, Society of St. Vincent de Paul will keep you in our prayers and wish you a Merry Christmas.
