The KAWARTHA LAKES FOOD SOURCE will be establishing a FOOD BANK here in Lindsay to help our neighbours in need. The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, representing St. Mary’s parish, has been asked to collaborate with them on this much-needed service, and we welcome this opportunity to use our funds and resources to help more people in our community. There will, however, be a need for more volunteers to work daytime, evening and Saturday morning shifts, and the Food Bank is accepting applications for a variety of volunteer positions.
