Society of St. Vincent de Paul Week 5 – 2019

SSVP will meet on Thursday February 21st. at 1:30 p.m. in the Sacristy.
New members are always welcome.

The KAWARTHA LAKES FOOD SOURCE will be establishing a FOOD BANK here in Lindsay to help our neighbours in need. The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, representing St. Mary’s parish, has been asked to collaborate with them on this much-needed service, and we welcome this opportunity to use our funds and resources to help more people in our community.
There will, however, be a need for more volunteers to work daytime, evening and Saturday morning shifts, and the Food Bank is accepting applications for a variety of volunteer positions.
Any SSVP member or parishioner who is interested in this worthwhile project can call me for more information.
Marie Young SSVP, 705-878-3968
