Society of St. Vincent de Paul Week 45 – 2018

“Did you know that some of our neighbours in need have to choose between buying food and paying their rent? By purchasing “support cards” through the parish we are able to help them to buy groceries. During November and December we will be asking you to support the SSVP Christmas Hamper program and you will find a cream-coloured envelope in your envelope box. Please be generous to those in need.
SSVP, St. Mary’s Conference, is a registered Canadian Charity and we issue income tax credit receipts for all donations.
We are sincerely grateful to all our benefactors. God bless you.”

As in past years, beginning the weekend of Nov 13th and 14th , the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul will have angels available at the back of the Church for those parishioners who wish to participate in the Angel Giving Tree program. You are invited to purchase a gift for a child in need this Christmas by selecting an angel and choosing from a list of suggested gift items. There will be sign-up sheets available for you to record the angel you have chosen and you are kindly asked to return your unwrapped gift no later than Sunday Nov25th. The Society would also ask that you keep these children and their families in your prayers this Christmas. Thank you for your generous support to this program!
