Attention all women: Are you nervous about speaking in public? Do your knees knock? Come out and learn effective public speaking techniques in a safe, supportive and fun environment on Sat. Oct. 19 from 9 am to 3 pm at St. Mary’s Church, Lindsay. Lunch is $10 or bring your own. This interactive workshop is sponsored by The Catholic Women’s League. All women are welcome. Our Harvest Tea and Fashion Show was a success. A big thank you to Annie from the Alia store at the Lansdowne Mall in Peterborough for putting on the Fashion show. A special thanks to our models, bakers, decorators, photographer, our MC and all of our guests. We could not have done it without you. A very special thank you to Father Balonwu for raising his voice for other than singing. Without his intervention we may have had to cancel at the last minute. He succeeded in getting our permits reinstated. He even got his picture taken in our photo booth along with other guests.

The CWL is a National organization of women who give the voice of 80,000 women to issues of importance to the Catholic community. Member educate each other about issues that effect you today and in the future.
Local Activities include: Retreats, Baskets Galore, Receptions fro Sacraments, Donations to partner agency .. Peace and Development, Baby Bottle Boomarang, Church restoration, Charities, School Busaries.
