The next CWL general meeting will be on the Feast of Our Lady of Good Counsel on April 26th. Mass will be at 7:30 followed by breakfast and meeting at St. Dave’s Diner. Guest speaker at our meeting will be Fr. Balonwu sharing information about Nigerian culture. Hope to see you there.
May 3rd we will be having 12 hours of prayer for palliative care in the church.
CWL LEADERSHIP AND PUBLIC SPEAKING COURSE This six-week course will be offered from Tuesday May 7 to Tuesday June 11 at 7 pm in the Sacristy. Participants will learn skills to give a report, thank a guest speaker, give a speech, how to be a lector and even more. Although geared to CWL, this info will be helpful and can be adapted to other areas of your life. Co-presenters will be Glenda Klein, Joanne Hough and Anne Marie Werry. To preregister, (cost is $15) call Joanne Hough at 705-324-4491 before April 30, so we can prepare materials.

The CWL is a National organization of women who give the voice of 80,000 women to issues of importance to the Catholic community. Member educate each other about issues that effect you today and in the future.
Local Activities include: Retreats, Baskets Galore, Receptions fro Sacraments, Donations to partner agency .. Peace and Development, Baby Bottle Boomarang, Church restoration, Charities, School Busaries.
