LARRY ALLEN

I was raised on a small farm north of Lindsay & then moved to Toronto after finishing high school to find employment. I worked for the Hydro for thirty-seven years. After settling in Georgetown I was very involved in the Parish where I attended weekly Mass & was a Eucharistic minister, involved with RCIA, a reader & on Parish council for eight years. Since retiring to Lindsay eight years ago, I have been involved with St. Mary’s as a reader, help with yard sales & do maintenance around the church. I have also been a member of the Knights of Columbus for twenty years.

DALE DARROCH

I have been nominated to serve on the St. Mary’s Pastoral Council. As a slight introduction to myself, my wife Mary Catherine and I live on a farm South of Cameron and have three daughters and two grandchildren. I work off the farm as a dairy nutritionist and have served on several boards and committees over the years. I feel my ability to patiently listen, and weigh out the pro’s and cons and problem solving experiences have been a good asset in my job and my life. As a relatively new Catholic I am truly willing to learn and approach the council with an open mind and true willingness to learn.
