VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – A FEW GOOD LISTENERS TELECARE LINDSAY is a volunteer agency offering a caring, confidential and empathetic telephone listening service to anyone in need in our community. We provide a telephone distress line to support those in personal or relationship difficulties.
In addition, we provide reassurance calls to many individuals in this community.
An extensive (12 weeks, one evening per week) training course prepares volunteers to be a telephone “listener”.
The next training session for volunteers begins Sept. 12.
