LEGION OF MARY – ROSARY Please join us on November 21st and 28th at 11:00am in St. Mary’s Cemetery as we pray the Rosary for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. Everyone is most welcome!
“Saint Bridget once heard Jesus say to His holy Mother, ‘Thou art My Mother, the Mother of mercy, and the consolation of souls in purgatory.’ The Blessed Virgin herself told the Saint, ‘that as a poor sick person, bedridden, suffering and abandoned, is relieved by words of encouragement and consolation, so are the souls in purgatory consoled and relieved by only hearing her name.'” The Glories of Mary by St. Alphonsus de Liguori.

DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE This fall, we’re continuing the Create Hope: Stand for the Land campaign. This time, we’ll be meeting communities in northern Honduras who have been struggling to preserve their land and water since an iron ore mine opened in Carlos Escaleras National Park, and poisoned the rivers on which they depend for their livelihoods. For more information, contact: Dorothy Carroll at 705-324-7750 or visit devp.org/campaign.
