This week at Chosen we celebrated the Solemnity of the Annunciation which occurred on March 25th. Father Stephen gave a talk on discernment… We also spent time admiring the beautiful depiction of the Annunciation in the stained glass window at the Church and we said a prayer to ask for God’s help to be humble and faithful like Mary in answering His call. We also had fun playing basketball. Students in Gr 5 to 8 are welcome to join us for CHOSEN Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30pm at St Mary’s School.

On Friday evening a group of our young adults attended the Kawartha Lakes Pregnancy Centre’s Spring Banquet. It was a great evening in support of the important work the Centre does to serve our community in protecting life and supporting families. Thanks to all those who attended this event! Our next Veritas meeting will take place on Friday Apr 12th. More details to follow.
