FLEMlNG COLLEGE CATHOLICS YOUNG ADULTS WELCOME BACK OUR YOUTH GROUPS, YOUNG ADULTS AND FLEMING STUDENTS!
Hello Everyone!
With summer coming to an end we are preparing for the launch of our Edge and Lifeteen programs.
Edge is our Elementary school ministry. It is for youth grades 6-8. In the Edge program the youth will hear talks about the Catholic faith, engage in activities, play games, see skits, eat snacks, pray and engage in fellowship. The purpose is to give the youth an environment where they feel safe, included and comfortable to speak about there faith and to be themselves. All are welcome and encouraged to come out and join us every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
Lifeteen is our high school ministry. It is for young men and women grades 9-12. At lifeteen the youth will engage with there peers on topics of faith and be formed into leaders capable of confidently talking about Jesus and the Church. They will hear talks, enjoy activities, see skits, play games and engage in times of prayer. Lifeteen is meant to be a place where young men and women can engage in discussions of faith and have their curiosity and questions answered. Lifeteen will take place on Tuesday nights starting at 6:00p.m.
Our Young Adult’s ministry is for anyone aged 18-25. It is a place where young men and women can come and join in fellowship with people of shared beliefs or come to grow and learn more about the Catholic faith. We will spend time together in fellowship, listen to talks, take faith studies and learn how to become leaders within the community. It is a great place to get to know other men and women in town and take a break from the busyness of life to laugh and learn. All are welcome and encouraged to bring friends! Finally, we have Fleming College Catholics. Fleming College Catholics is for all Fleming students! It is an amazing opportunity to get to know other people outside of your programs and to engage with others on campus. We will be hopefully running CCO faith studies and sharing our faith on campus in engaging and relatable ways. Anyone from Fleming is encouraged to join us and get plugged into the local faith community!
We will be having a Meet and Greet the new youth minister for Lifeteen on the 13th of September at 6:00 p.m. outside the parish rectory and on the 14th of September for Edge at 6:00 p.m. outside the parish rectory. Come out for snacks, drinks, skits and games.
The official Kick off for Edge will be the 21 st of September with Minute To Win It! Bring your game faces and crafty moves for an exciting night of timed trials!
For Lifeteen the kick off will be the 27th with Crazy Olympics. Bring your friends and your determination.
Young Adults (18-25) will meet at the rectory on September 8th at 7:00 p.m. Feel free to bring a friend. Fleming students feel free to come out and be part of our group. You are most welcome!
