Next World Youth Day Fundraiser: St. Mary’s Youth Collecting Bottles!
20 cents for liquor and wine bottles and 10 cents for every beer bottle!
St. Mary’s World Youth Day Pilgrims are collecting beer, wine, and liquor bottles to help offset the cost of attending the next World Youth Day to see the Pope in Madrid, Spain in 2011. St. Mary’s Youth will be going door-to-door with flyers this Sunday Dec. 6th notifying households of the bottle pickup which will take place the following Sunday Dec. 13th beginning at 10 am. Parishioners are also encouraged to drop their bottles off at the rectory if they live out of town or will not be home on the 13th. All of the bottles will be returned for a refund at the local beer store and the funds raised will be set aside for St. Mary’s WYD pilgrims who participated in the bottle collection.
