Fish Fry
Thanks to everyone for supporting, donating and enjoying the Fish Fry and Silent Auction. What a wonderful evening for all. We made a profit of $1,588.91 from the fish fry and donations made by parishioners to the Restoration Fund, and around $1200.00 to the Youth for World Youth Day. A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped. See you in the fall.

Donations are currently being accepted for the parish yard sale organized by the Knights of Columbus, which can be left at the rectory.

If you need someone to pick something up for you contact Martin Kraan at 324-2084 or the parish office 324-4828.

Help is needed for setting up on Friday May 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Anyone able to help please just show up at St. Mary’s School Gym as help is also needed to clean up after the 11:00 a.m. mass on Sunday.

Our sale turns unneeded items into cash for our church projects and charity. Thank you for your generous support.

In our 25th year, we almost doubled donations from the Church.

Donations can be left at the rectory.

Bakeless Bake Sale
Thank you to everyone who made a financial donation and/or a promise of baking. Someone will be back to the bakers shortly to clarify needs. More than $500 has been was raised to this point. You are very generous and we appreciate the opportunity to host the breakfasts for our guests and purchase needed items for the Convention. Some donation envelopes are still available at each door.

Baby Gifts
Donations for presentation to Birthright and the Lindsay Crisis Pregnancy Centre at the Convention would be greatly appreciated. If you cannot make the CWL Meeting of April 8th, baskets will be set up in the Church for collection of items as of April 10th

CWL Diocesan Convention 2010
St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School

Join us in honouring the priests of the Diocese in the ‘Year of the Priests’.

In association with the Canadian Catholic Conference of Bishops the funds will be sent through the Catholic organization for Development and Peace in conjunction with the international Catholic group, Caritas.

100% of these donations will be sent and are not subject to the regular 5% withholding tax and they will be assisted by a $15,000 donation from our diocesan charity fund which is itself funded by the 10% of moneys retained form the Lent collection for purposes such as this.

Everyone is encouraged to help our suffering brothers and sisters in Haiti.

An informal reception to wish him well will follow in the hall from 10 am to 12 pm.

At Fr. Norbert’s request, no gifts or presentations please.

"For Three!"

The next Sports and Rec. Night  is Wed. Dec. 16^th  from 6:30pm-8:30pm in St. Mary’s School Auditorium for youth Gr. 8 and Up!  Free Pizza, pop, and chips as well as music while playing, prayer, basketball, indoor soccer, volleyball, and possibly ball hockey too!  If you have any sports equipment please feel free to bring it with you and we’re also looking for donations of new or used sports equipment as well.  God bless everyone and I hope to see you there!
