To honor our Patron St. Vincent de Paul, Mass will be at 5:00 p.m. in the church on September 27, followed by a pot luck dinner in St. Mary’s School.
You are welcome to join this celebration even if you are not a member. Bring your family and food.

“Bundle Week-end” October 1-2 there will be a collection of clean, usable adults and children’s shoes/boots and clean rags.

Please mark each bag/box as to its contents.

A SSVP truck from Peterborough will be in the church parking lot Sat Oct 1 from 4:30-6:30pm. and Sun Oct2 from 8:30am.-12:30pm.

Clothing & Shoes Drive

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul wish to thank St. Mary’s Parish for their support in the Clothing & Shoes Drive. It was a great success!

We are now receiving many calls for warm clothing for the children. If anyone has winter snowsuites or other warm clothing ,boots & shoes they wish to donate to SSVP , please call the Parish and SSVP will pick up the clothing left at the Rectory.

There are notices on the bulletin boards of St.Mary’s Church to ask the members of St.Mary’s if they would again sponsor families this Christmas. The forms to be returned to SSVP via the Rectory or collection baskets used at the Masses.

On October 22nd all the members of SSVP are asked to come to the St. Mary’s church’s chapel at 4pm for a photo-shoot.

The next meeting for SSVP will be on November 24th at 1pm in the chapel.

Clothing Drive

On 3 Oct. there will have a “Clothing Bundle Drive.”

ST. VINCENT de PAUL will have a truck available in the church parking lot to collect clean clothing in good condition; clean rags -clearly labelled RAGS; shoes and boots. No APPLIANCES or FURNITURE will be accepted at this time.

Hours of truck loading are: 3 Oct. Saturday 4 – 6:30p.m. and 4 Oct. Sunday 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
