Along with our Priests and Youth Coordinator, we, the people of St. Mary’s Parish, aim to be models, teachers and witnesses of our Catholic faith for the young souls God has entrusted to us – in our families, schools and parish – in order to pass on the treasures and promises of our faith and help each one become the Saint Almighty God has called him/her to be – both in this life and for all of eternity!
Fleming College Catholics is our campus out-reach program. Students at Fleming are invited to join in our weekly Faith Study sessions through the Catholic Christian Outreach program. This program is designed “to bring people to Christ, build them up as Catholic Christians and send them out to reach others.”There are five levels within this program 1) Discovery – Jesus is the indispensable, core message of the Christian faith, 2) Source – The Holy Spirit makes a difference in our faith life, 3) Growth – Essential elements for spiritual growth, 4) Obedience – Practical lessons on obedience, surrender and trust in God, 5) Commission – Motivation to spread the message and mission of Christ. (CCO Faith Study Series) Each level in the series integrates Scripture and Church teachings into small group discussions. We also hold various retreat activities and other events aimed at bringing students together to build friendships and grow stronger in their Catholic faith.
