Sunday Oct. 19 (date corrected) – CWL General Meeting and Pot Luck Luncheon at St. Mary’s School at noon. Lacey Maxwell will share some of her experiences of her school missionary trip to the Honduras earlier this year. Jane Antal will present “An Exercise in Discernment”. Bring the dish of your choice and bring a friend. School will be open after 9 am mass.
Sunday Oct. 19 – The Reading Club will meet in St. Mary’s Gym at 1:45 to discuss Rome Sweet Home.
Saturday Nov. 8 – Baskets Galore Luncheon in St. Mary’s School. Doors open at 10 am. Only about 20 tickets are left for this event which has been sold out the last two years. Call Marnie at 705-324-0225 or Gail at 705-320-8162 for tickets at $25 soon. Last year many parishioners helped us immensely by donating filled baskets or items for the baskets. It’s fun! Collection boxes will be at the main church entrance during October. If you would like to donate a complete basket, call Marnie at 705-324-0225. Tues. Dec. 2 – Bus Trip to Famous People Players Theatre and the Cheese Boutique with lunch, tour and show included. Call Cardinal Coach Tours at 705-324-2777 and book your ticket for $115.26 and asked to be seated with the CWL. The bus will leave the municipal parking lot (near the teepee) on Hwy 35 S at 8:45 am.
