Collection for Women in Shelters (June) – We will be collecting the following for Women’s Resources: ‘women’s pyjamas, slippers, socks, gently used clothing, and children’s books, crafts, coloring books, markers, crayons, and toys [new only]’. The shelter is seeking ‘Little Tykes Cars [used OK] as too many kids want to use it at the same time and if a child is attached to one they send it with the child when they move into there new home. If you are have any of the above items that you wish to donate please bring them to the church and place them in the baskets located at the main entrance of the church.
Plan Ahead For Some Christmas Fun – the CWL is planning a Christmas Trip with ‘Cardinal Coach Tours’ to see “Sleigh Bells Ring”, performed by the ‘Famous People’s Players Theatre’. The bus will leave Lindsay at 8:45 am on Tuesday December 2nd. 2014. Cost of $102.00 (plus HST) includes a Turkey Luncheon before the show. This trip is open to parishioners and friends.
