SHARED KITCHEN IN ST. MARY’S SCHOOL
A meeting has been scheduled for Monday June 21, 2010 at St. Mary’s Church in St. Joseph’s Chapel at 7:00 pm.

The purpose of the meeting will be to plan for future needs and the future organization of this shared facility. The meeting will be hosted by the Catholic Women’s League.

All regular user groups of the kitchen are invited to send representatives to this important meeting. Your ideas and concerns are important to this planning process.

MONUMENT CLEANING

Anyone wishing to have their monuments power washed and cleaned which will remove moss and scaling, please book now. Call our custodian Brian direct at 879-5204.
Depending on size, cost for this effective service is $25 or $50 made payable to St. Mary’s Cemetery.

K of C monthly meeting for all members is Thursday June 10th, 7:45pm in hall on William St.S.

There will be 1st Degree ceremonies and a speaker at this meeting.

All Knights are asked to attend Thursday 7:00pm Mass on June 10th in honour of our Priests as we approach the closing of “The Year of the Priests.”

DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE BUS TRIP TO THE G8 IN HUNTSVILLE

A diocesan gathering is planned for the G8 in Huntsville on Saturday, June 26th.

There will be an out-door Mass at 3:00 p.m. for the purpose of praying for the G8 leaders in a visible way, to encourage their support for small-scale fanning in the Global South and to show we are counting on the government to respect life globally from conception to natural death.

The bus will leave Mount St. Joseph parking lot in Peterborough (corner of McDonell and Monaghan) at 10:00 am., stopping at St. Mary’s in Lindsay, St. Paul’s in Gravenhurst (for lunch), St. Joseph’s in Bracebridge (returning for supper) and on to the site in Huntsville, returning by 9:45 p.m. Cost is approximately $25.00 which is the cost of meals.
