Corpus Christi Procession

On June 10 we are holding a “Corpus Christi” procession of the Blessed Sacrament following the 9:00 a.m. mass, allowing parishioners from both the 9:00 a.m. and the 11:00 a.m. to participate.

Be sure to mark June 10th on your calendars.

Parish Yard Sale

June 9-10 is the weekend for our summer Parish Yard Sale.

Donations are currently being accepted for the yard sale organized by the Knights of Columbus and can be left at the rectory.

If you need someone to collect something for the sale you can contact Martin Kraan at 705-324-2084 or the parish office at 705-324-4828.

Help is always needed for setting up on Friday June 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Anyone able to help, please just show up at St. Mary’s School Gym. Clean-up help is also needed after the 11:00 a.m. mass on Sunday.

Our sale turns unneeded items into cash for our church projects and charities.

Monday, January 16 kicks off our 17th Annual Homeless Awareness Week. As has been tradition for some time now, we will be holding a Silent Auction at The Lindsay Square Mall from the 16th to the 21st.

Auction items are pieces of fine furniture generously donated by Southern Comfort in Lindsay. In addition we will have an interactive quiz, our storybook and other informational material. We will be also taking pledges for the Polar Plunge that will be held February 5th in Bridgenorth.

This year’s plunge is dubbed ‘Freezin for a Reason’ and the theme is ‘cartoon characters’.

You won’t believe what we will have at the mall. Come out and see our surprise and make a bid on the beautiful furnishings that will be there.

A Quick Journey Through the Bible

Both the Monday Evening and Wednesday Morning sessions for the course are now filled and the registration is closed.
If numbers warrant the course may be repeated.

The Bible Study begins Monday January 16 at 7 – 8:30 in the Parish Library and Wednesday January 18 at 9:30 – 11:00 in the Chapel at the Church.

A night of music featuring Shannon Fiedler (St Mary’s organist), Marie Fiedler, Dante Pettapiece, Jordan O’Neill, Lexie O’Neill and Andrew Cooke – in support of the Reyes Irene Girls’ School in Honduras, a project of Friends of Honduran Children

Terry Fox Fundraiser

As part of Saint Thomas Aquinas’ Terry Fox fundraiser, the staff at St. Thomas will be serving dinner at Boston Pizza, Lindsay on Tuesday October 4th from 6 – 8pm.

10% of all food sales from 6 – 8pm that night be will donated to our Terry Fox campaign.
